Mosin Nagant M91/30 Hex Rec.
Mosin Nagant M91/30 Dated 1934. Hex Receiver, excellent bore, wood and bluing. I have not shot this rifle as I have some reservations about the rifles appearance. It would seem that the stock is in pristine condition, but it has factory marks and small storage dings with no evidence of sanding. I'm just having a hard time understanding why it's not more worn as others I've seen. The color of the finish also is throwing me off. It isn't the normal dark reddish color but it does have the reddish hue as my other 91/30; just not as deep in color richness. The only restoration I did was about 8 hours of rubbing with Murphy's oil; which didn't alter the color at all. The serial number is under 800. All matching numbers including the Bayo. There is one more thing; this rifle was in the wrapper when I got it and was quite covered with cosmo inside and out.
